Dad loved to hate certain radio and TV shows, like ITMA, Arthur Askey and Stinker Murdoch (Bandwaggon) and Happidrome. But he couldn't help repeating the catchphrases and songs. So he would enjoy himself singing the "Ramsbottom and Enoch and Me" song from Happidrome, and then saying, and explaining, Enoch's catchprase (Let me tell you!) before shaking his head, rueful smile, and pronouncing the whole thing "terrible".
